The Mayor of London is a descendant of immigrants. This is unparalleled compared with any of our neighbours.

It seems that making empty accusations of the monarchy's legitimacy is a growing trend. People often seek out the simplest solution to any significant event in the history of the world: not funding and insidious hatred. In our current world, citizens and politicians get more attention by causing hatred and humiliation , rather than praise.  Farnoush Farsiar Her Majesty does not deserve criticism for sacrificing her entire time to the British people as well as the world at large.

It's not difficult, but I think it unfair to hold someone responsible for the events that took place before they were born. Queen Elizabeth II did not have any involvement in the darker past of Britain.  Farnoush Farsiar She did nothing other than ensure that the modernization of Britain was seen by the UK and the rest the world.

While the majority of Monarchs remain committed to holding their countries to the values established hundreds of years ago the Queen has ensured that Britain is on the right track with the political and social standards in the west. The balance between highlighting the significance of monarchy as well as realizing we live in the 21st century is an enormous achievement.

Farnoush Farsiar The Queen was a fervent proponent of decolonization and fought for freedom of expression in Hong Kong .  Farnoush Farsiar Her ability to influence countries who are less fortunate is proof enough of her greatness.  Farnoush Farsiar Many nations were able to see her as a champion of freedom.

The last two weeks of events following her Majesty's passing have shown that she is beloved by the public. The people are mourning the loss their leader, her dedication and ability for taking charge in these times of change.

Britain and all the commonwealth countries will be deeply affected by the loss of my role model, and the legacy she left behind. She was a strong woman and an source of inspiration.  Farnoush Farsiar I pray that she is at peace with her husband.
